Addis Ababa, January 9, 2016 (FBC) –More than 3, 100 sheds and clusters being built 35 towns in Oromia Regional State will be transferred to associations in the third quarter of this Ethiopian budget year, according to the State’s Micro and Small Enterprises Development Agency.
The production and display centers being built in 35 towns of the regional state are now at 81 percent complete, Getachew Geleta, Deputy Head of the Agency, told Fana Broadcasting Corporate (FBC) yesterday.
According to him, the sheds and clusters will create temporary and permanent job opportunities for over 1.5 million citizens.
The agency has a plan to create more than 3 million jobs in the five-year second Growth and Transformation Plan (GTP-II) period, it was indicated.
