Addis Ababa, June 12, 2017 (FBC) – Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn made a phone call yesterday to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
In the conversation, they explored methods of strengthening bilateral friendship and co-operation.
While discussing avenues of joint co-operation in areas of economy, development and trade, Hailemariam and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi stressed the importance of expanding them further to serve interests of the two countries and their peoples.
According to WAM, they also exchanged views on a range of regional and global developments of mutual interest.
In a related development, Hailemariam received and held discussion with a Qatari delegation led by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, at his office today.
Al Thani also presented a message sent to the Ethiopian Premier from Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani.
Similarly, the Premier conferred with Festus G. Mogae, Chairperson of Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission (JMEC), for the Agreement on the Resolution on the Conflict in South Sudan.
The discussion focused on ways of maintaining sustainable peace and stability in the Horn of Africa region.
