Bahir Dar June 09/2017 The Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC) concluded a contract agreement with Chinese Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) for construction an industrial park in Bahir Dar, Amhara state.
The industrial park, which will consume over 60 million USD, is expected to be concluded in nine months.
The park, which will rest on 75 hectares land, will have eight factory shades and related infrastructures including standard wastewater treatment technology.
CEO of IPDC, Sisay Gemechu said the construction of the industrial park will be occupied by labor intensive industries that would export value-added agricultural products.
Upon completion, the industrial park will create jobs for 20,000 citizens.
