Ethiopia to host Annual East Africa Cement, Concrete and Energy Summit

Addis Ababa, April 17, 2017 (FBC) –The second Annual East Africa Cement, Concrete and Energy Summit (Annual AE-CCES) will take place on April 19 and 20, 2017, at the UN Conference Center in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

The two-day event will be held with the theme “Investing on East Africa’s Future: Exploring Cement, Concrete and Energy.”

The first Annual EA-CCES was organized last year from March 17th – 20th, 2016 at the African Union Conference Center under the main theme of “Strategic Cooperation among Cement, Concrete, and Energy Industries: Agendas for Action.”

Delegates from more than six countries took part on the Summit as exhibitors and conference participants.

The platform provided an opportunity to bring key players of the three sectors together from business leaders, policy makers, academia, technology suppliers, researchers and more.

The 2nd Annual EA-CCES intends to capitalize on the gains and lessons from the first Summit.

The main purpose of this year’s Annual EA-CCES is also to provide a convenient platform for key players of the industries’ development where they all come together to network and address critical issues as well as set-out strategic directions shaping the future of cement, concrete, and energy industries.
