Ethiopia establishes tourism sub-command post

Addis Ababa, October 26, 2016 (FBC) – Ethiopia has established a tourism sector sub-command post to ensure safety of tourists, according to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The Ministry held a consultative meeting with tour operators today.

Ethiopia’s tourism industry has shown growth but the recent violence and disturbance have negatively affected the flow of tourists into the country, it was indicated.

In order to ensure the safety of visitors, the country has therefore established a tourism sub-command post.
