Ethiopian defense force spots location of abducted children, taking massive military action

Addis Ababa, April 20, 2016 (FBC) – Ethiopian defense force has indentified the location of children abducted by armed militants of South Sudan’s Murle tribe from Gambella regional state last Friday.
The defense force has surrounded the place after entering into areas called Jior and Kok, Gatluak Tut, Chief Administrator of the regional state, told FBC today.

The defense force is currently conducting a massive military operation against the group to rescue the abducted children, he noted.

He said 125 children abducted by the armed group will be reunited with their families after the operation.

Efforts will be made side by side to bring back the over 2,000 cattle stolen by the gunmen, he added.
