As many of you all are aware, this year’s Tigrai festival will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada from July 30th- August 3rd, 2017. In addition to the usual youth night event, the Ad Hoc Committee of the youth council took the initiative to hold an establishment conference for the Council of Young Tegaru as a supplement to the annual festival on Tuesday August 01, 2017. Therefore, this letter serves as both a notification and a call for young Tegaru residing in North America (U.S. & Canada) to attend the conference and actively participate in both the discussion and establishment process. Throughout the conference, issues pertinent to the youth and our people, in general, will be brought forth. For example, conference papers will be presented on several topics to help increase the breadth of understanding on relevant issues. At the conclusion of the conference, the youth council will discuss and ratify a draft bylaw. Furthermore, an election of an executive committee will be held and the council will be officially formed. Thus, the Ad Hoc Committee invites you to get participate in this crucial conference.
