Ezdan Holding Group to build $350 mln five-star hotel in Addis soon

Addis Ababa, February 10, 2017 (FBC) – Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn received and held talks with a Qatari business delegation led by Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani, Chairman of Ezdan Holding Group.

Dr. Kahlid on the occasion told the Premier that his company is keen to engage in the construction sector, with a priority in hotel industry.

Ali Mohammed Al Obaidli, Group CEO of Ezdan Holding Group, said the Group had been optimizing conditions for the past one year to taking advantage of the durable pace and investment potentials existed in Ethiopia.

Ezdan Holding Group will soon begin the construction of a five-star hotel at a cost of up to 350 million US dollars, he said.

The Premier on his part said the government will give the necessary support for Qatari investors who want to invest in Ethiopia.

Dr Khalid also conferred with Mayor of Addis Ababa city, Diriba Kuma.
