Newly appointed FM Dr. Workneh arrives at Ministry

Addis Ababa, November 7, 2016 (FBC) – Newly appointed Foreign Minister Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu has arrived at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Head-Quarters today.

Upon arrival, the Minister was warmly received by high-level officials of the Ministry, including the outgoing Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Tedros Adhanom and State Ministers as well as Director Generals.

Following a private ministerial meeting with Dr. Tedros, Minister Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu then met with Management Board members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On the occasion, the State Ministers and Director Generals pledged to work with Minister Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu with renewed commitment and responsibility.

The State Ministers and Director Generals also thanked the outgoing Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Tedros Adhanom, for his tenure in Ethiopia’s diplomatic ventures.
