Addis Ababa, November 2, 2016 (FBC) – Tirfu Kidanemariam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to New Zealand, has presented his credentials to Dame Patsy Reddy, Governor-General of the country.
Reddy on the occasion said that her country wants to support Ethiopia’s dairy and livestock resource development as well as its successful security and good governance activities.
New Zealand in particular appreciates Ethiopia’s role in maintaining peace and security in the region, she added.
Ambassador Tirfu on her part said the bilateral relation of the two countries has been growing from time to time.
The ambassador also held discussions with heads of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of New Zealand as well as with Ethiopians living there on current political, economic and national issues.
