Addis Ababa, August 1, 2016 (FBC) –The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) is to build a technical and vocational training college in Mekele town, the capital of Tigray Regional State.
Chief Administrator of Tigray Regional State, Abay Woldu, Ambassador of South Korea to Ethiopia, Kim Moon, and KOICA Ethiopia Country Director, Doh Young Ah, laid the corner stone for the college to be built at a cost of 5.5 million US dollars obtained from the Korean government.
The construction of the college will have a significant contribution to produce skilled manpower in construction, woodwork and textile sectors, among others.
