UK Foreign Secretary arrives Ethiopia Wednesday

Addis Ababa, May 30, 2016 (FBC) – The Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom, Philip Hammond, will arrive on 1 June 2016 for 2 days official visit to Ethiopia.
Hammod was appointed Foreign Secretary on 15 July 2014. He was elected Conservative MP for Runnymede and Weybridge in 1997.

He was previously Secretary of State for Transport from May 2010, when he was appointed as a Privy Counsellor. Prior to this, he held a number of shadow portfolios. He was elected to Parliament in 1997 and was appointed Secretary of State for Defense in 2011.
