FIFA President to arrive in Addis today

Addis Ababa, March 23, 2016 (FBC) – Upon the invitation of the Ethiopian Football Federation (EFF), the newly elected FIFA President Gianni Infantino will arrive in Addis Ababa today for a working visit to Ethiopia.

During his stay in Ethiopia, the 45-year-old Swiss national of Italian descent, will hold discussion with heads of EFF.

The President will also visit the Federation’s office, Ethiopian youth academy and FIFA GOAL Ambo project.

President of EFF, Junedin Basha, said the visit will further consolidate the existing good relations between Ethiopia and FIFA.

“Infantino’s visit will allow us to move forward with our football development plans,” Junedin added.
