(EBC; March 31 2016) – Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn says Ethiopia will work together with the republic of South Korea to address problems within the urban development sector.
An experience sharing forum on South Korea’s practice in the urban development sector was held on Thursday in Addis Ababa.
Hailemariam said on the occasion that his government will collaborate with South Korea in its efforts to urbanize Ethiopia through the linkage of the country’s agriculture and industry sectors.
He expressed conviction that the upcoming official working visit of high profile South Korean government officials to Ethiopia would further cement the longstanding diplomatic ties between the two nations.
Minister of Urban Development and Housing, Mekuria Haile for his part said the two countries have reached agreement to cooperate in addressing challenges related to housing development and its management.
