Addis Ababa, February 7, 2016 (FBC) – The statue of Abune Petros, which was removed from Menelik II square due to the construction of the Addis Ababa light rail project, reinstated today.
It was returned to its original place safely in the presence of religious fathers, government officials and various members of the society.
The statue of Abune Petros was removed from its original place to the National Museum in April, 2005 EC.
