Addis Ababa, January 5, 2016 (FBC) – An automated teller machines (ATMs) assembly plant, built at Alem Gena Daleti woreda with 50 million birr has begun production.
The plant, which rested on 5,000 square meters of land, is the first of its kind in East African region.
The plant will help save foreign currency. It has created jobs for 100 people.
The plant has currently begun trial production.
It will have the capacity to assemble 1,200 ATMs per annum when it begins with full capacity.
